The FY2026 pamphlet of the Q-ENERGY Innovator Unit — the Green Innovation Unit of Kyushu University's K²-SPRING programme — is now available as an interactive digital book. Published on 11 September 2026, it opens with a greeting from Unit Head Prof. Akari Hayashi, which describes how the unit brings together doctoral students from 14 departments to work across disciplinary boundaries toward a decarbonized society, and why the friendships and networks fellows build here last long after their time in the programme.
九州大学 未来を拓く博士人財育成プログラム（K²-SPRING）グリーンイノベーションユニットの2026年度パンフレットを、電子ブックとして公開しました。2026年9月11日発行の本パンフレットは、林 灯ユニット長のご挨拶から始まります。14専攻にわたる博士学生が専攻の壁を越えて脱炭素社会の実現に挑む本ユニットの取り組みと、ここで築く仲間とのつながりがプログラム修了後も一生の財産になることが語られています。
At its core are one-page research introductions from 35 fellows, spanning hydrogen and fuel cells, fusion plasma, biomass and carbon recycling, batteries, building and urban energy, global supply chains and more. The pamphlet also reports on the unit's activities — company visits from 2022 to 2025, Energy Week and the poster sessions for industry — and includes an overview of research and training in the unit by Prof. Roman Selyanchyn, together with group photos from recent years.
